The final whistle of the match Portugal Ivory Coast in Abidjan was greeted with cries of joy, music played at background, parades of cars waving flags Ivorian and a concert of horns to greet the delivery of Elephants. The Ivorian national team had indeed taken in the lead (0-0) to that of Portugal, the favorite before the meeting. The atmosphere was crazy in the Abidjan neighborhoods where many fans attended the match in the village of the World compiled by mobile operators at the municipal stadium Yopougon, the largest township in the economic capital. "We see this tie as a victory for us to provide our players, in any case we do not expect it at all," shouted the fans. Dressed in yellow, the fans who stormed the early morning the facilities of the municipal stadium, have been pleased to follow the elephants in their first game of their second consecutive appearance in the finals of the FIFA World Cup after Germany 2006. The Abidjan had deserted shortly before the end of the morning, their offices, retail and services to make it back home or friends or in public places. "It is true that we had the game in hand, unfortunately football is the outcome that we see. With this show we have seen, I believe that our disappointment is not as large, well On the contrary, it reassures us other matches to come, "remarked Dr. Bernard Yapo, a University of Abidjan. The Ivorians thus retain hope for the second game of the Elephants next Sunday against Brazil.
